Q: Who can become a Faceless Businesswoman?

A: We are open to applications from all! We will let you know if we are currently unable to accept new applicants due to lack of time and advise on a future date that we would love to interview you. At this moment we ARE open to applicants.

Q: Do you need to be assigned female at birth to be a Faceless Businesswoman?

A: No. Anyone who identifies as or feels bae, female, femme, she, her, or they can be one!

​

Q: Do you foresee allowing men/he/hims in the future? 

A: Probably, but for now as a one-person team, I am limiting this to women as they are who inspired me for this project.

Q: Do you have to be a business owner or an executive-level employee to become a Faceless Businesswoman?

A: Nope! We want to hear from women of all walks, all pay rates, all educational backgrounds, and all career types!

Q: Will you tag me on social media or otherwise identify me?

A: Not unless specifically requested. Our default is to flag all identifying language in interviews and ask if you would like us to remove those details. In images, we will automatically remove names, company logos, and other identifying features (it's faceless after all) unless specifically requested to keep them - such as if a small business owner would like us to tag her in social media and keep the identifiers in her art image.

We will not respond if we are contacted by someone trying to identify an anonymous Faceless Businesswoman. We will never give away or sell your identity (anonymous) or your contact information. 

​

Q: Do I need to be able to speak or write in English to be a Faceless Businesswoman?

A: No, but at this time our interview questions are only available in English. However, if you are not confident in your English writing we could set up a Zoom interview instead. If you are not confident in your English writing or speaking, or do not speak or write in English but know someone willing to translate for you, we would be happy to receive your interview through their translation! Unfortunately, we are unable to supply translators at this time.

Q: What would get me turned away from being a Faceless Businesswoman?

A:    

1-Bigoted, racist, derogatory, or other unaligned messages, comments, or answers to   interview questions will not be tolerated.

 

2- Incomplete applications, interviews, or not providing a usable photo - we will reach out to you if any of these happen, but are not responsible for continuing to do so.

 

3- If we currently have enough submissions we will need to interview you at another time. 

 

Q: Do Faceless Businesswomen get paid?

A: Not currently. Although I would love to compensate those who trust me with their story, it is a volunteer interview. I do send a 5"x7" art print of the image I create to the Faceless Businesswoman who is featured as appreciation for her sharing her image and story, but I do not have the current capital to provide anything further, this is a passion project on my part.

Q: Am I allowed to use Faceless Businesswomen images?

A: Not without permission. All images are copyright of Faceless Businesswoman. Please reach out to us at facelessbusinesswoman@gmail.com if you are interested in using any of our images.

 

Q: Can I print Faceless Businesswomen images?

A: Please do not. All images take time to create and will be offered for sale in high-quality prints. If you cannot find an image or size that you would like in our shop (coming soon), please email us at facelessbusinesswoman@gmail.com we will be happy to help you with procurement within our means.
